Now parents and community members have a central hub with all the tools they need to stay in touch with the latest news and alerts from Yakima School District including:- Digest feed provides personalized, on-demand access to news, alerts, photo and video for parents, students, community members and alumni- Important notifications like emergency alerts, school closures or early releases- Yakima School District media accounts and calendar events- Instant access to vital attendance and emergency hotlines- Bus schedules, daily lunch menus, sports schedules, and more** Usage Notes **Following Schools - Follow a school to view its news, contacts, calendar, and other resources by going to the "My Profile" page from the main menu and clicking on the "Follow School" button. Once you have followed a school, you will see its information on the "Digest", "Contacts", and "Resources" pages. On the "Digest" page, you can toggle news for a school on or off using the filter button in the top right corner of the screen. To switch between schools on the "Contacts" and "Resources" pages, simply swipe the screen left/right.School Resources - A school calendar and map are available for every school from the "Resources" page.On Android - From the "School Locations" page, use the "open page in browser" button in the top right corner of the screen to view a full page version of the map.Content rating: Low Maturity
