  So light you cant feel its there.When its scanning its ultra fast scans, I can still use the computer without problems. Great blocking of malware.

  does not slow computer down even older ones

  Cons

  you can not uninstall you can not enter in a new license key when software expires you can not install a newer version safely because the company has the idiocy of thinking their software should never be uninstalled

  do not buy, do not install, do not give company a chance, do not even buy for somebody you don't like, software is not worth the effort even for a free year, I hope webroot falls to pieces like the EU is now

  Pros

  Lower priced than some alternatives. Allegedly better feature-set than free options--I cannot confirm same.

  Cons

  I am an experienced professional with decades of experience in computer usage. I attempted to purchase the latest version of WEBROOT for my Dell Ultrabook--an advanced laptop with superior specs. Repeated download efforts failed. The WEBROOT process is NOT user friendly. I was placed into a "loop" whereby I was compelled to repeatedly revise my proposed password--only to find that it would not work.

  Summary

  Try this product at your peril. I elected to go with one of the many superior competitors.

  Pros

  The program is very intuitive and easy to use, even for family members that aren't tech savvy. The reports are well laid out and the program uses very little system resources.

  Cons

  When the program is studying a new piece of software, the files it stores can be huge. For those with low disk space, this can be a major problem.

  Summary

  Great program, good web blocking and very fast and efficient. Great deals on this when purchased through ebay or rakuten.

  Account set up and opted out of auto renewals. Received notice at year end that they were going to charge $$$$ 80.00 $$$$ to my account unless I opted out (again). Opted Out-----they charged my account anyway. AND GET THIS-you can buy a new subscription on-line for 40 but hey charge their existing customers $80.00 RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF RIP OFF

  Pros

  - works silently in the background, very light on resources. - monitors for new threats and only pounces if a real threat. - lots of functions, including innovative firewall. - easy to use, just keep on default, or if you want there is lot's of tweaking available.

  Cons

  - some false positives, but also detected some new threats very early, so I prefer they are cautious than let something nasty through to harm my data.

  Summary

  Completely different kind of AV, worth trying, but you need to understand what it's doing and leave it alone for a month or two without interfering or comparing with others and almost 100% surely it WILL protect you in its unique way.
