Tooler simplifies the creation of shortcuts for time-saving, predefined functions. This small executable sports a small, easy-to-understand interface with buttoned pull-down menus to select a location and type of function. The program quickly creates shortcuts for helpful functions, such as performing shutdown actions, closing and ejecting your CD-ROM drive, and controlling your screensaver. It's just as fast and efficient to create shortcuts to the Desktop, Start Menu, and Programs. You can even create a shortcut to adjust your system's volume control to a specific percentage or lock your mouse and keyboard within a specified time period. With those functionalities included in this small utility, any user will surely appreciate the convenience and efficiency that this freeware provides.

Software load and eject for DVD on Windows 7

It worked on my particular brand of computer that has Windows 7 on it, which has a very poorly placed eject button. It placed the commands in the program listing section, where I told it to. Works on an OS that it wasn't designed for.
Cons
Since it did the limited action that I downloaded it for. I am very happy with it.
Summary
The program did what was specified for it. Since I was only interested in one set of commands, I didn't try the other commands or try to put the command activators in other places that they are supposed to work on the earlier OSs than Windows 7. They may not work, the computer may lock up or even worse. But for a program that came out at least two years before Windows 7, and doing what I wanted it to do, solved a very difficult problem on my computer, a very irritating problem at that!

Tooler is a unique program that allow you to create special type of shortcuts. What's so special about them. They have all features of the typical shortcuts, so you can move them, rename them, or change their icons. But they also allow you to easy accomplish such tasks like turning off the monitor, restarting your PC or ejecting selected CD-ROM tray. This program is very easy to use, requires no installation and the exe file is tiny.
