Though this application takes an unusual approach to generating strong passwords, it's light on extras and user guidance. Most of the humdrum interface is reserved for the unique mousing area, which Nevel Password Creator uses to transform mouse movements into random passwords. As with most password generators, you can define the password length and include or exclude numbers, uppercase and lowercase letters, and special characters. However, the help file is a bit sketchy on information and doesn't fully explain how the levels of security differ with password options. This is especially true for the Tamper-proof mode, which the help file merely notes removes certain letters. It doesn't explain how this enhances security, nor does the program explain which encryption algorithms it's using. The program lacks a couple of extras found in more competent tools such as options to add prefixes, suffixes, and masks to your passwords. All in all, Nevel Password Creator works, but it doesn't offer the features or user assistance that would make it stand out in a category that offers so many choices.
