Hey everyone
Just wanted to post something so you can see I'm here and share what I'm working on.
Last week I started working on the trailer and that's still what I'm doing. It's an unusual task because I've never made a long a video. Putting a scene together in the game is quite different, because when you're putting up a trailer, you have to condense as much good stuff into a single minute as possible while also making it appealing and of course cool looking.
This, as many other tasks can be approached in different ways. Either just record some gameplay footage and call it a day, spend dev time elsewhere, or fully commit and try to make it as awesome as possible. I think you can guess which approach I'm taking. It's a unique challenge and I'm trying to nail this. I've had tons of ideas that I've scrapped already, but looks like it's coming to a conclusion. I wanna be done with it this week and move on to other things on the list.
I hope I can show it to you soon.
Otherwise, not much is happening outside of work. I went to the gym 3 times last week, I'm satisfied with that. It helps a lot with my mood. Maybe I'll become Dr Chad in the future? Probably not, but it's all good
That's all from me for now. It's a short post, but it's probably best if I don't write a wall of text every time. I'll let you guys know how things are going.

while its funny, id say most of us work like 40-50 hours per week, and 3 times at the gym isn't a lot to be fair, it can help productivity. Im not sure what the trailer is needed for, guess its just an initiative, perhaps a rather useless one. Its also very hard to estimate how long it actually takes to make an update, all i know it can take up to 30 min to create a CG pic of one scene + minor variations to it, then u render, add text over it, code it etc.Working on a trailer and going to the gym. Definitely the development news we were hoping for.
No one has really explained the process and so the expectations are perhaps higher than realistically possible unless working overtime. However, if someone is a dev and could explain it, would be greatly appreciated.

It's for the Steam. People in Steam who don't know what DoD is will want to see what the game is like, so he will include some sex animations and similar stuff for that 60 second trailer to show people what the game includes. Very much needed for the Steam releases.
Hello guys, complete and total newbie here, I've been wanting to download this game but, I've seen people talking about viruses, crypto miners and such. Did anyone virus check the game fully recently ? Is it safe ? Sorry, I know it's a very dumb question, but I am a very paranoid person.

Video editing can take a lot of time, once was said about a professional editor, that he was working near Interstellar black hole, cause he said that it was almost ready and still took 10 hours of non-stop work to finish.
Depends on your level of comfort. First try to send the full pack, if it's to big, unzip it, temporally move the image.rpa away, zip up the remaining files and send that zip.
Or use the Windows Sandbox to run the games in.

I was alluding to the fact that there wasn't any game development news, not that going to the gym is a waste of time. It isn't. A trailer is perfectly fine too, I'm just struggling to find the point of this Patreon post.
He announced the release date of DoD: DE (yay!) a week-ish ago in his first Patreon post since June. He did a rather light Q&A on Discord last month (I had asked him a question), so to say that game dev talk over the last few months has been sparse is I'd say very fair.
Considering that this post is behind a paywall, I'm sure that many of us were hoping for a little bit more than that.

I just found out that there is ntr content with the publisher. That's why i cant convinced mom to buy revealing clothes even though i repeated every choices from the very beginning

That’s pretty much the only thing you could consider NTR in the game (minus the bad ending I suppose) meaning NTR is not substantial by any means. The game is mainly a harem game for the MC.
